Our family owned brewery has a simple plan for brewing great beer:

• Natural Ingredients;
• Traditional Techniques; and
• No Preservatives or Additives.

Brewed amongst the vines of McLaren Vale, South Australia, our beers are given all the attention and time they deserve.

Update August 2010

Goodieson Brewery has just passed it's first six months milestone and our Pale Ale and Pilsner brews are proving very popular. There has been a lot to learn in the last six months and we have come through fairly unscathed.

Our beers are out there in bottle shops and restaurants and we are also doing tastings and selling at Willunga Markets on Saturday morning. The markets are fantastic and if you haven't ever had the chance to get down to Willunga on a Saturday morning and experience the market for yourself, what are you waiting for! Our beers compliment an amazing range of fresh fruits, vegies, meats, cakes, honey, plants, jams, oils, spices, wine, breads, cheeses and just so much more.

We are also very excited about the upcoming summer. We have great plans to use the amazing views and relaxing country atmosphere by adding a beautiful paved area around our shed and setting up a relaxing beer garden. It will be a fantastic place to sit and enjoy not only a deliciously cold Goodieson brew but also views of the vineyards and the hills.

Our plan of adding the Stout this winter didn't quite work out. Winter came so quickly and as were still finding our feet with the Pale Ale and Pilsner we decided that adding a third beer to the range just might complicate things too much. We absolutely promise that it will be available next winter (2011). But we will be starting work on the German style Weissbeir (Wheat beer) very soon and will have the product in bottle definitely by early summer.
